Creighton A. Simmons, O.D.
Dr. Creighton Simmons graduated with highest honors in 1990 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee. After graduation he completed a one year residency in ocular pathology at Omni Eye Services, also in Memphis.
Dr. Creighton joined Simmons Eye Care in 1991. He practices primary care Optometry, which includes fitting contact lenses, prescribing glasses, childrens exams and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma and co-management of cataract and laser surgeries. He was named “Young Optometrist of the Year” for the state of Arkansas in 1995 and served as President of the Arkansas Optometric Association in 2000. He was Optometrist of the year 2010, and presently holds a seat as Legislative Chairman.
Dr. Creighton lives in Benton and is a loving and devoted father of two son’s Collin and Cain. He has recently purchased a thriving office in Hot Springs, where he practices full time.
Zachary T. Ford, O.D.
Dr. Ford was raised and graduated high school in the small community of Bismarck, Arkansas. While still in High School, Dr. Ford spent summers working at Chapman’s Eye Care. It was during this time, Dr. Chapman would become a key influence in Dr. Ford’s future career decisions.
Following high school, Dr. Ford continued his education at Henderson State in Arkadelphia. He graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry. Dr. Ford then applied to Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee, where he completed his studies at SCO, graduating class of 2019.
Dr. Ford enjoys the outdoors and country living. This has led him back to Arkansas to practice optometry. Dr. Ford looks forward to serving the community with integrity, compassion, and professionalism.
